Positive Reviews

Walking distance to Disneyland

Guests reported that walking to the main entrance of Disneyland Park only took around eight minutes, which was very doable especially since that bit of walking equates to savings since you're staying outside of the park.

Magic hour every morning

Guests loved the fact that they could be at the park an hour before it officially opened, but they recommended accessing it via the Downtown Disney gate and not the main gate to reduce your time spent in line.

Concierge level worth it

Guests reported that upgrading to concierge level included free breakfast and dinner with unlimited beer and wine even as well as unlimited soda, water and snacks all day long. They also enjoyed being able to conveniently have their concierge book tickets to Disneyland without having to wait in line or on the phone.

Negative Reviews

Occasional housekeeping concerns

Several guests reported that their rooms were not made up when requested, and others had housekeeping enter the room while the 'do not disturb' sign was up. There were leftover items, dust, dirty bathrooms and some noted that their sheets were never changed and the floors not vacuumed throughout their whole stay.

Can be noisy

Those rooms facing the Downtown Disney parking lot and those facing the road across from Disneyland Park were reported to be quite loud.

Starting to show its age

The rooms are starting to appear outdated, as guests noted that the curtains and comforters were stained, the painted walls were peeling, and the bathrooms had cracked tiles and water stains. Guests also noted issues in the public areas, as the elevators were slow and sometimes didn't work at all, and the hallways were dark and dated as well.
