Location is perfect

Bally's is located on the center of the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk and guests report it is very convenient to entertainment, various activities and other casinos.The hotel is situated to allow easy access to the beach, which guests say is extremely favorable for families.

Rooms are Cozy

Numerous guests reported that the rooms are well-appointed and the beds are very comfortable. Some rooms are said to be compact and cozy, while others are reported to be spacious. Upgrades are available, however, if requested.

Pool area is wonderful

The pool area is clean and well-maintained, according to many guests. Service in the area is said to be excellent and many recreational options are available, including hot tubs and outdoor sunning areas overlooking the ocean.

Negative Reviews

Inadequate Customer Service

Staff is said to be not very friendly - valet service and bellhops in particular were commented on. Numerous guests report that the Front Desk is often understaffed, causing long, frustrating wait times. Some guests note that confirmed reservations were dropped or ignored.

In Need of Updates

Room decor is reportedly outdated and bathroom showers sometimes don't drain properly, according to some guests. Mildew was noted as well as leaky faucets. The elevators don't always work and sometimes get stuck for half an hour or more, some guests commented. Staff often warns the guest of the problem with the elevators, so management is aware of the problem.

Cleanliness is Inconsistent

While some guests found their rooms clean and tidy, others complained the sheets had holes and were not clean, the carpet badly needed to be shampooed and had a smell, and the upholstered chairs in the room were badly stained and very dirty.
