Positive Reviews

Amazing art

Visitors should not miss the hotel's private art gallery. Previous guests rave about the stunning collection, which is ever-changing and features some incredible works from famous national artists including Amorsalo and Francisco. Some guests are so impressed, they say a visit here saves a trip to the local museums.

Lovely location

Most guests find the location well-placed and far enough from the city to avoid the crowds. Though it is outside the downtown area, guests report that most of the city's famous attractions are actually more easily accessible from here. According to recent visitors, Mines Park and the Botanical Gardens can be reached on foot.

Quality cuisine

Guests generally enjoy the excellent cuisine at the on-site restaurants, and highly the breakfast buffet, which is praised for its varied offerings. Visitors also suggest a visit to the hotel's bakery, which makes terrific breads and pastries.

Negative Reviews

Noise complaints

Various guests complain about the hotel's poor soundproofing for many different reasons. Most guests report hearing their neighbours conversations and music, even at normal volumes. Others also say that street-facing rooms get some traffic noise, while guests in back rooms complain about barking dogs throughout the night.

Poor Wi-Fi

Travellers are highly disappointed with the Wi-Fi at this hotel. Many guests give up on trying to use it, due to complications with connecting or a slow browsing speed. Travellers especially find it inconvenient since they have trouble using VOIP to make calls home.
