Positive Reviews

Good basic room for a short stay.

Business and leisure travellers liked the simple but clean hotel just outside the centre of Paris and about a ten minute walk to public transportation (bus and metro). Often described by guests as “functional” the hotel nevertheless got good marks for con

The staff are helpful.

Guests found staff both accommodating and bi-lingual in English and French.

Breakfast is well worth the money.

While it does not come included in the room charge, (and costs 11 euro) guests said breakfast was well worth the money. It is served continental style and includes croissants, cheese and fruit.

Negative Reviews

The rooms are small and old fashioned.

In Europe, this means that there is not enough storage space. Many guests suggested that the hotel could do with a facelift. Some guests had problems with regulating the heat in their rooms. Some had problems opening windows.

Rooms can be noisy and smell of smoke.

Several guests found the rooms noisy, primarily because of outside street noise. A couple also complained of requesting non-smoking rooms that smelled of smoke.

French travellers were unimpressed with the bathrooms.

One compared them to the kind found on trains and airplanes. In general, most guests found them to be clean but on the small side.
