Positive Reviews

Lively Location

Situated in the trendy Jewish Quarter, this hostel boasts an ideal location in the heart of Budapest. It is surrounded by endless fantastic dining options, stylish cafes, and dynamic nightlife. It's an excellent base for hopping through the city's Ruin Bars. Guests also recommend shopping on Vaci Street. The hostel is also convenient to most of the city's attractions, and only a short walk from the Danube River.

Comfortable Space

Overall, guests liked the accommodations offered here, even the shared dorms. The large room is divided into mini-rooms with curtains to offer more privacy, and guests say you can feel comfortable lounging in your own space without disturbing others. In addition, the hostel offers fast and free Wi-Fi, which guests greatly appreciated.

Pleasant Personnel

The staff is reported to be friendly, accommodating, and available all day and all night. They are more than happy to assist with tour and ticket bookings, and guests recommend it to save time for sightseeing. In addition, the front desk staff are quite knowledgeable and will gladly help you navigate around the city, provide detailed directions, and give excellent local recommendations.

Negative Reviews

Shared Showers

The bathrooms, especially the shower areas, do not offer much privacy. Guests staying in mixed dorms said this made them a bit uncomfortable.

Blah Breakfast

Feel free to skip breakfast if you're a picky eater. Guests say the selection is nothing extraordinary, and the food did not seem fresh.

Missing Modern Amenities

The rooms could use some modern updates. The largest issue seems to be limited electric outlets in the rooms. In addition, there is no air conditioning in the rooms, but a fan can be rented for a fee.
