Balay Paragua is a guesthouse purely owned and managed by Palaweño siblings that agreed to put up accommodation that will offer a Palawan sense of comfort. The place is a modified Palawan’s nipa hut making it look authentic and rustic. The property is named after the mainland of Palawan and is just a few steps away from almost all guests' needs and a stone's throw to the beach (2-3 mins). Enchanting Taraw cliff can viewed from the verandas while having a cup of Kaping Paragua (Paragua coffee), not to mention the unparalleled white sand beaches that can be reached on foot once you explore the area.
In early days the mainland of Palawan was called Paragua by the Spaniards because of its umbrella like shape. The group of islands and islets in the northern part of mainland Palawan is called Calamianes islands and in the southern part, it’s called Balabac Islands and the long narrow big island is called Paragua.
The excellent location makes Balay Paragua the best gateway to Philippine's last frontier, making it the perfect choice when you’re looking for home away from home in El Nido, the Neverland to many visitors.
