Stylish, clean and comfy rooms in new building
Being a new hotel, many reviewers remarked that the rooms were well-cleaned and well-maintained with large and cosy beds plus a minimalist modern style that blended function and form in an appealing way. As the rooms were competitively-priced for the area, many guests said their stays represented good value for money.
Popular location with good transport links
This hotel's location just off the M-30 ring road was convenient for motorists, who said it was easily accessible by car. Moreover, there was ample on-site parking that was affordably-priced. There were several dining options in the vicinity too. Non-motorists loved being just three minutes' walk from the nearest metro station on Line 1 for quick and easy access to Madrid highlights like sports venues, museums, sightseeing and shopping.
Upbeat about personnel and breakfast
Guests had plenty of praise for the professional, friendly and obliging members of staff on the 24-hour reception, noting that some were multilingual. There was also praise for the efforts of the housekeeping staff. The breakfast was reportedly simple but reasonably-priced, convenient and plentiful.
En suite facilities' design posed privacy issues
Several critics felt the layout of the en suite shower and toilet facilities could pose awkward privacy situations for some guests sharing rooms because they were designed with frosted glass doors. Some reviewers felt the rooms were small, particularly at full capacity.
Occasional parking lot grumbles
The indoor parking lot was a little bit cramped, according to some visitors, who claimed certain spaces were tricky to negotiate when it was busy.
Nuisance noises and smells reported
Despite many visitors finding the hotel pretty tranquil, some light sleepers claimed selected rooms were exposed to road noise at times. Tobacco smells were also detected in some parts of the hotel.
