Without having to venture far, guests have access to public transportation, can enjoy a variety of restaurants, bars and shops and all major tourist attractions such as Santa Ana Square, the Prado Museum and the Reina Sofia Museum.
Despite being in such a central and bustling area, guests report that the hotel is exceptionally quiet and that you are able to catch a good night's sleep.
While the bathrooms are clean and modern, they are quite small and lack certain simple features that make quite the difference. For example, guests suggest that hooks for the towels or a shelf in the shower might greatly increase the functionality of the compact bathrooms.
Even though the suites are much larger than the traditional rooms, guests have expressed concern over their layout. They spread out over two levels, with the upper one being the sleeping area. Therefore, guests have to walk up and down the stairs every day, which some reported as being quite cumbersome.
Guests report that the rooms tend to get quite hot, as there is insufficient ventilation and the air-conditioning is not too strong or sometimes also does not work. This seems to be a particular problem in the suites, since hot air rises to the top, which is where the bedrooms are located.
