Ramada by Wyndham Newburgh/West Point

The hotel is primarily utilized as a temporary housing facility, a characteristic that profoundly shapes the guest experience and sets it apart from conventional accommodations. This unique operational model means that while it may serve as a last-minute option for truck drivers or those facing unexpected travel disruptions, it is generally not recommended for typical leisure travelers or families seeking a comfortable stay. Guests frequently report pervasive cleanliness issues, including widespread pest infestations and unsanitary conditions throughout the property. The environment is often described as noisy, with frequent disturbances impacting rest and comfort. Many visitors express significant concerns regarding safety and security, often noting the presence of security personnel and protective barriers at the front desk. To manage expectations, it is crucial for potential guests to understand that this establishment operates more as a shelter than a traditional hotel, and to be prepared for a very basic and often challenging stay.
