Guests could not fault the location of this small hotel, which put them in easy reach of Montreal's old port and old town locations. Those in the city on business were also happy to note that Saint Catherine Street, Montreal's main commercial district, is located just a short walk away.
This property offers a breakfast comprised of a croissant, coffee and a glass of orange juice. Guests truly appreciated this simple meal.
Many commented that, given this property's proximity to many of the city's main sights, this hotel represented great value for money in Montreal.
On the whole, guests commented that rooms had a tired appearance, with fixtures and fittings showing signs of heavy wear and tear. Many were also disappointed to find that their units were uncomfortably small and foul, mouldy smells were a problem here. Additionally, the Wi-Fi service was disappointingly weak, almost to the point of non-existence.Finally, guests also reported that the lack of air conditioning at this hotel made for some uncomfortably hot nights during the summer months.
New arrivals were disappointed to find that there is no on-site parking here. Those who arrived by car were directed to a lot a few blocks away. These arrangements caused concern among guests, who noted that the lot was unsecured.
At the time of writing, guests reported being disturbed by traffic noise from the road running adjacent to this property as well as from the din of a nearby construction site.
