Review summary
Summarized by AI from 400+ reviews
A nostalgic retreat for history-loving city explorers.
This hotel offers a charming escape for travelers who appreciate a vintage atmosphere and period-inspired character. The property sits steps from the Völkerschlachtdenkmal and is rounded out by a cozy dining room that preserves the building's authentic 20th-century aesthetic. Guests consistently praise the breakfast buffet for its high-quality, artisanal variety; for a quieter experience, we recommend requesting a room at the rear of the building to minimize street noise. The professionalism and demeanor of the staff further ensure a welcoming stay within these unique, historic surroundings.
Some guests mentioned: steep stairs, limited soundproofing, street noise.
