Berkshire Travel Lodge

The hotel is widely described as being in a state of disrepair, with peeling paint, grimy walls, and stained furniture. Many guests report rooms reeking of cigarette smoke, mildew, or urine, with some even finding blood on sheets or bed bugs. The overall consensus is that the hotel is run down and outdated, with pictures online being highly inaccurate. While a few guests found it clean enough for a quick stop, the overwhelming majority describe it as filthy and disgusting, with visible dirt, cobwebs, and even roaches. The property is often described as a "dump" and not suitable for a comfortable stay, with many advising against staying unless absolutely necessary. This hotel is primarily suited for budget travelers or those in a pinch needing a quick, no-frills overnight stop, especially if other options are unavailable. It is also suitable for pet owners due to its accommodating policy. To manage expectations, guests should bring their own sheets and be prepared for a very basic experience.
