The Howard Plaza Hotel Taipei (Taipei City, Taiwan)

The hotel is located near some of Taipei's premier shopping and attractions. The popular Da'an National Forest, the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall and the Zhongzheng District are all less than two miles away. The hotel is serviced by Zhongxio Fuxing Station for public transportation, and express bus service to the airport is also available.

Guests mentioned that the hotel is very clean and well-maintained. You should have no problems with the upkeep of the guestrooms or other parts of the hotel.

The hotel is home to several different restaurants, most of which received glowing reports from guests. The onsite eateries offer everything from traditional Chinese cuisine and Hong Kong-style dim sum to Japanese steakhouse fare and European-inspired dishes. With all of these options available, you should have no problem finding something to which everyone in your party can agree.

The Taipei Howard Plaza is an older property, and some guests felt that the hotel was starting to show its age and could use a stylistic update. The decor and furniture in particular were cited as feeling a little out of style.

Several guests were disappointed by the inward-facing atrium rooms as they offer no outside view. Outward-facing rooms are also available and offer a view of the city skyline, but these are generally more expensive than the atrium rooms.

Some visitors found that the guestrooms at the Taipei Howard Plaza were a little too small. A few suggested that the rooms might simply have had more furniture than it could comfortably accommodate.
