Positive Reviews

Great location with easy access to central London.

The Sapphire hotel is within easy walking distance of several London Underground stations, giving quick and easy access to the West End and beyond. The area also has a huge variety of eating and drinking options, plus is near a huge shopping centre and a music performance venue.

Staff are great and hotel is good value.

Most previous guests of the Sapphire report that the staff were helpful and friendly throughout their stay. Most also agreed that with the friendly staff, fantastic location and free breakfast, the Sapphire provides really good value for money.

Good free Wi-Fi.

A number of guests appreciated the free Wi-Fi during their stay at the Sapphire hotel. Many commented that it has a good, strong signal and worked well throughout the property.

Negative Reviews

Small double beds.

Previous guests of this hotel report that the double beds are too small and not full-size doubles as they appear to be in the hotel images.

Some rooms not up to scratch.

While space is naturally limited in London hotels, some guests felt that the rooms and bathrooms were too small and cramped for their liking. There have also been reports that some of the rooms have a bad smell to them.

Didn’t stay in the hotel as expected….

As the Sapphire has a sister hotel nearby, some guests arrived only to be told that they will be staying at the hotel down the street instead of at the Sapphire, as booked. Some were told this was because it was overbooked at the Sapphire, and this has led to frustration among guests.
