Positive Reviews

Perfect location for sightseeing

This was by far what most impressed guests about their stay here. They said that the hotel was pretty much in the perfect location for sightseeing, with major attractions like Notre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre being within easy walking distance. They also liked the immediate Marais district as well, saying it had all the sidewalk cafes and other amenities they were looking for during a Parisian city-break.

Friendly reception staff

Guests were impressed with the level of service they received from the reception staff here. They were described as friendly and helpful, with the sort of attitude that made them easy to approach when guests had a question or concern.

Decent value for money

Guests were generally very pleased with the room rates they received here. Together with the central location and what was described as suitable accommodation, they concluded they had received decent value for money.

Negative Reviews

Steep and narrow stairs

Even guests without any sort of mobility issues commented that the stairs here were difficult to negotiate. They were described as especially steep and narrow, requiring great care when using them. Guests generally regarded them as posing a real safety hazard. There is no lift in the hotel.

Interior could do with a makeover

Guests described the interior of the hotel as being a bit tired. They felt that both the rooms and public areas of the hotel could do with a quick refresh, at the very least, to get them looking vibrant again.

Very poor Wi-Fi

It was impossible to find a good word written about the Wi-Fi system here. Those who had a signal described it as slow and unreliable, while many reported they didn’t have any in-room access at all.
