Positive Reviews

Looking for plusses.

It would be unfair to say there's nothing good here because rooms are OKish and beds are comfortable.

A lot of free parking.

It's easy to dismiss free parking when there's so much of it. City center hotels either don't have the facility at all, or charge excessively for it. Rejoice then, in the fact that parking here is plentiful and free!

It's a great location; hassle free and yet the popular haunts of downtown Pittsburgh are only a short drive away. Ditto several popular sports stadia. The nearby Robinson Township is great for shopping and food supplies .. particularly good news for self caterers!

Negative Reviews

It's the 'Pitts' (burgh).

The place is dirty with mold in the bathroom and dirty cleaning cloths left hanging around; probably by bewildered cleaning staff who have just given up. It just feels 'grubby' and wonky WiFi, dirty carpets and dribbling showers, just add to the despondency.

Alarm bells ring.

The theft deterrent thing attached to the door is super efficient and goes off at all times of the day and night - but with no thief in sight!

Shortages drama

It's not hit the national news channels yet, but there are dire shortages in the Pittsburgh area of such things as towels and pillows. Or is it just this place where you have to go and seek out the barest of essentials which should be supplied as standard. It's not just the supply chain that deals in tiny quantities. Bathrooms are very small too; obviously a characteristic of the area?.
