Rixos Bab Al Bahr is a magnificent all-inclusive hotel located on pristine white sands.

Consisting of different accommodation blocks each in the shape of a pyramid, one is allocated as adults only. Deluxe rooms have king size or twin beds, hairdryer, bathroom with rain shower, mini-bar, air-conditioning, safe, satellite television, internet and telephone.

Boasting two spas onsite, one for men and one for women, there are also seven swimming pools. Rixy Kids’ Club will help to keep the children happy whilst parents enjoy the entertainment. Guests can use the football pitch, basketball and tennis courts.

Seven Heights is the all-day buffet restaurant and there are five a la carte restaurants to choose from. Guests can enjoy items from the coffee shop, cake shop and burger bar.

Positive Reviews

Staff very attentive.

The staff are very attentive and display good customer service with the lifeguards in particular having been commended for doing a consistently good job of maintaining order around the pool area.

Huge choice of food.

Guests can use the Seven Heights buffet restaurant which is open throughout the day or alternatively reservations can be made in one of the five a la carte restaurants. The choice of food is plentiful and even the fussiest of eaters have found more than enough to eat. The quality is also very good and has been a highlight of many guests’ holidays.

So many facilities.

The gym has modern equipment and the spa treatments are of high quality and you can choose to use one of the many pools or relax on the private beach. The kids’ club is available to keep the children entertained and there are games consoles available for teenagers.

Negative Reviews

Have to book a la carte restaurants.

The five a la carte restaurants have good reviews, however in order to book one you have to go and queue. Some guests have reported this taking up to an hour which they feel is an unacceptable waste of time on holiday. They feel a more efficient way of booking these restaurants is needed in order to make the stay more enjoyable.

Wi-Fi poor and the spa is a little expensive.

Although Wi-Fi is available there is not a reliable enough signal which can be frustrating.

Everywhere too busy.

The hotel is very busy and this takes away the relaxing side of the holiday. You have to get up at the crack of dawn in order to get a sunbed by the pool and on an evening there are too many people trying to eat in the buffet restaurant which makes it very difficult to try and get a table. There is a complete mixture of cultures staying at the hotel and each has a different attitude about queuing.
