Positive Reviews

Good transport links

Many of Rome’s prime sites are walkable. There is, though, easy access to the very centre of Rome via a network of bus, tram and metro services at Termini. You can walk to Termini very easily but the 71 bus will get you there … in a flash if you prefer. You can be at places such as the Colosseum, via del Corso and Piazza di Spagna, within ten minutes ... and at the end of your holiday, there’s cheap public transport to take you to the airport.

Very friendly staff

Everyone here is very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of restaurants near the hotel and members of staff here will see it as being their mission to find one to suit you.

Deluxe en-suite accommodation is impressive

These rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained.

Negative Reviews

Breakfast isn’t for the hungry

Breakfast is offsite in a neighbouring cafe - and is a pretty tame affair … much tamer than Rome’s lions. It’s hardly worth the bother of turning up for this. If you feel hungry afterwards – and you surely will – there’s a useful supermarket near the station.

Matters of convenience

If staying in a  room which isn't en-suite, the shared bathroom facilities are very limited, so you can’t always get in precisely when you need to! Even in the en-suite rooms, there is a build-up of condensation, damp and a worrying smell.

Foreigners abroad

The neighbourhood doesn’t appear to be very appealing. That said, there’s no evidence of any trouble and everyone in the area is very friendly. It’s a little bit out of the centre of Rome and English isn’t a language that’s known to everyone. This includes members of the hotel staff.
