Close to SFO

Going by the reviews, it seems that most guests re using the hotel for a quick airport layover. To this end, they found the location very good indeed, saying it did not take long at all to get from the SFO terminals to the hotel for some much needed rest.

Very clean

One thing that almost all guests could agree on was that both the rooms and public areas of the hotel were kept very clean by an “on the ball” housekeeping staff. They were relived that they did not need to worry about cleanliness issues when all they wanted was to get some rest.

In room fridge and microwave

Guests really appreciated having these two amenities available, since it meant they could enjoy all their favorite snacks and drinks.

Negative Reviews

Questionable value for money

Quite a number of guests felt that the hotel was too expensive. While they conceded that the Bay Area was an extraordinarily expensive place for hotel rooms, they still felt that this hotel charged too much for what it offered.

Noisy environment

Guest reported that the great location so close to the airport did not come without a price. They mentioned that the hotel was on a busy street, and that it did not seem the rooms were soundproofed. As a result, guests were disturbed by noise from both the road and the airport, making for a restless night for some.

In desperate need of a makeover

Most guests felt that the décor really let the hotel down. They said that it was dated and that the hotel had clearly not had a significant update in many, many years. They felt it needed one urgently if it was to remain competitive.
