Positive Reviews

Excellent on-site restaurant

The Fino Ristorante & Bar, which is located next to reception on the ground floor, is popular with guests who have stayed at The Andrews Hotel. The restaurant offers a tasty selection of pasta and fish dishes which incorporate Californian ingredients where possible. Famous visitors to the restaurant include Michelle Obama and her daughters. Guests also appreciate the complimentary glass of wine provided each evening - it's a great way to meet other guests.

Friendly members of staff

Many guests remark that they found the hotel's members of staff very helpful and friendly. So, if you need any assistance during your stay at The Andrews Hotel, you'll be able to rely on a good level of service in response.

Great location near the centre of San Francisco

If you are looking for a hotel that offers easy access to the sights and sounds of San Francisco, then you'll find The Andrews Hotel perfectly located. Union Square is only a few minutes walk away and offers many public transport options to explore the rest of the city.

Negative Reviews

Small rooms and bathrooms

The small size of some of the rooms is an issue raised by several guests. In particular, the bathrooms can be very small which make getting dressed and using the facilities difficult.

Rooms lack air conditioning

The Andrews Hotel doesn't have an air conditioning system. Although the rooms do include ceiling fans, according to some guests these do little to cool the rooms.

Disappointing breakfast

A few guests were disappointed with the complimentary breakfast and felt that it was too basic and didn't offer enough choice. The addition of meat and cheese would be welcomed and the fact that it was taken in guests' rooms was also an issue.
