Positive Reviews

Safe location, close to transport.

Guests said that the area in which the hotel is located is safe and well-lit in the evenings which gave them piece of mind when returning to their rooms after a busy day of sightseeing. The hotel is a short walk away from Kallang MRT station, from which guests could catch trains to various parts of town.

Amenities on the doorstep.

Although there is no dinning option on the premises, guests said that this did not pose a problem as there were numerous restaurants and cafes just yards away from the hotel building. Grocery shops and markets are also just steps away which many found very convenient.

Good value for money.

According to quite a few guests, the hotel offers reasonable rates considering its location and the facilities it provides. Many appreciated the powerful air-conditioning units which kept the temperature in the rooms nice and cool as well as the strong and reliable Wi-Fi signal.

Negative Reviews

Dated interiors.

The decor in the rooms was described as being rather tired-looking and in need of modernisation as quite a few guests objected to the old-fashioned furniture and rather dated bathroom fixtures and fittings.

Issues with payment.

The hotel does not accept cards and requires its guests to settle their bills in cash which inconvenienced quite a few guests who said that they had to leave the premises in order to search for an ATM machine to withdraw their money.

Staff issues.

According to some guests the front-desk personnel were not as particularly polite and customer-orientated which made them feel quite undervalued as ill at ease. Those who approached the front-desk personnel with issues said that they were not pleased with the way in which they were treated.
