Positive Reviews

Ideal central location

The big plus of this hotel is its perfect location right in the middle of Sydney's Central Business District. Guests comment that the place has good transport links, is near Wynyard Station and great for buses and ferries too. You are also just a short distance from the Circular Quay, harbour, Botanical Gardens and Sydney Opera House and have lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

Freebies are gratefully received

The hotel's pricing policy which includes free Wi-Fi, films and soft drinks from the minibar is much appreciated by the guests.

Modern and well-designed rooms

Guests like the look of the contemporary rooms, which still benefit from being recently constructed. The bedrooms and bathrooms are stylish and well fitted out, whilst the beds are very comfortable.

Negative Reviews

Claustrophobes beware

Having nice looking rooms is all well and good, but space seems to be a more valuable commodity to guests. They complain that the rooms are tiny and stuffy – and too cramped if there are two people sharing. You don't even have a chair, let alone table and may not be able to store your suitcase. Guests benefiting from upgrades to superior rooms don't find them to be much larger either.

Rooms like day and night

Guests complain that rooms are dark, dingy and lack natural light. Others say they can't sleep because the flimsy blinds let in too much light. If you have an interior facing room you may even be disturbed by the bright lights blasting through from the central atrium.

Breakfast is expensive

Guests say the hotel's breakfast is quite pricey and you can get better value by eating out locally. If you do choose to eat there you may face long queues.
