Hotel The Penn Wells

Built in 1869, our historic Penn Wells Hotel is an iconic marker of downtown Wellsboro. From the beautiful flower boxes under the lobby windows to the neon red Penn Wells sign on the roof, you can’t miss it. Guests at the Hotel have the absolute best location in the center of downtown. The interior of the Hotel portrays an elegance of earlier times, with mahogany woodwork, deep colors and a large wood-burning fireplace in the lobby. Hotel guests enjoy easy access to our restaurant, the Mary Wells Room, and the full-service Lounge. Every guest room in the Hotel is unique in some way, but most rooms contain either a king, double, or two double beds, and all have a TV and private bathroom. A complimentary breakfast is provided for guests at the Hotel in the dining room Monday through Saturday, and Sunday brunch is complimentary for Saturday night Hotel guests.
