About Sherwood

Sherwood is an eco-friendly Queenstown hotel overlooking the Frankton Arm reach of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables Range. This three-star hotel occupies a three-acre hillside site just a five-minute drive away from downtown Queenstown and offers pilates, yoga and meditation instruction, massages, a bike trail and a workshop for skis and bikes. All rooms are renovated largely using upcycled furnishings and materials and also come with free Wi-Fi, a minibar and either terrace access or lake views. Touring musicians or artists in residence perform regularly, a large garden area and a wigwam are available to guests to relax in and free parking is also available. The kitchen serves organic fruit and vegetables from the gardens and from local producers, while the bar also has a wide variety of New Zealand wine, spirits and beer. Sherwood is a five-minute drive away from Queenstown Airport.
