You will like the location of this property. Guests have appreciated the fact that the Mandarin Plaza Hotel is close to popular Cebu attractions, such as Ayala Mall.

A few people mentioned the hotel was reasonably priced and was a good deal for the area in comparison to some other properties.

Most people said they found their rooms to be clean, a factor which was very much appreciated. Other parts of the hotel also have been said to be generally clean.

Some sound proofing could be in order. There have been complaints about different noises being an issue at varying times. People have said there were problems with outdoor street noises coming in during the evenings as well as issues with thin walls and being able to hear other guests talking in neighboring rooms as well as hallways.

Though there have been mixed reviews about staff members, a lot of people did mention that customer service was not always the best and staff members could be friendlier. A few people also said they felt staff members were cold and not very responsive, though other visitors did not feel this way.

Some people mentioned that if a few room problems such as poor lighting were improved, in addition to general updates, the experience staying at this property would be better. There were also guests who said the hallways were a bit gloomy looking. A bit of cheer and brightening up could be in order.
