Review summary
Summarized by AI from 100+ reviews
A historic, secluded retreat for travelers with private transport.
This property offers a quiet escape for travelers seeking a remote, historic atmosphere. The Hirtshals Ferry Terminal sits nearby, while the scenic surroundings provide a unique backdrop for those exploring the coast. Guests often praise the culinary offerings for their high-quality, flavorful preparations, though those seeking a more refined experience may prefer booking a table at the cellar restaurant in advance. While the friendly and attentive team adds warmth to the stay, the overall condition of the rooms and facilities remains inconsistent, often falling short of modern expectations for maintenance and upkeep.
Some guests mentioned: limited staff availability, unstable internet, maintenance issues.
